I flew with Sandy when she was based in New York and I treasure the times she and I would share about our faith in God and His love for us. Recently. last summer we spoke again and I was so moved and inspired by her strength and peace despite the circumstances! I called to minister to her...she ended up ministering to me!! ..."well done thy good and faithful child" God bless

Celebrate a life well lived.I flew with Sandy at United Airlines when she was based in New York. We had kept in touch as she went to Chicago and DC. I always enjoyed flying with her and our great conversations. She will be missed.

To Sandy's family I am shocked and saddened at the same time to hear about Sandy. She was full of life and a wonderful person to have known. I was remembering the great times Sandy Lucy and I shared in the friendly skys during the EAL days "Great Times of my life" My prayers and thoughts goes out to her family.

Sandy was a ray of sunshine. I always knew that if Sandy was on my trip, it was going to be a fun one. She always made me laugh. Sandy was a real asset to EAL.

When you fly for 19 years, you fly with hundreds of people, if not more. Most you don't remember, others touch your heart forever. Sandy was a forever !

Sandy and I flew together out of Atlanta, with EAL. Oh what fun we had. She will certainly be missed. She was one of a kind for sure. Great memories of our times together. Sympathy to her family.

Sandy helped me cook all the food for my wedding reception March 15, 1980. I will always remember her caring, help, and fun and upbeat attitude. I always loved flying Eastern airlines with Sandy since her fun pranks kept everyone happy and laughing. She will be sorely missed and has left many fond memories on the hearts of her loved ones. My condolences to her family members. Sandy, you are truly loved.

I remember Sandy as a very kind and caring person. We shared EAL, UAL, a comuter apartmentment in N.Y. (fun times) and unfortunately cancer.
She was very positive and fought a hard battle. I will always have fond memories of her in my heart.

Oh gracious! This is the passing of a TRUE original. We shall miss her infectious laugh, sense of humor, and love of life. I had the distinct honor of flying with Sandy at two Airlines. Sandy & I met our senior year at Fletcher. 1969...ouch! We were the only seniors in our Home Ec class. We didn't have to take it in Virginia. Who knew it was required to graduate in FL. Although we hadn't kept in touch these past few years I would like to think I will be among the friends she remembers. Her mom introduced me to tomato gravy and collard greens. I miss her Dad and I will truly miss her. Betty thanks for calling me. My love to your Mom, Ronnie, Tami and you (and Uncle JL)!

Sandy and I flew together at two airlines and she was always a joy to work with and be around. Lately we have shared another event in our lives, Cancer. Along with some others of our sisters in the sky, we all have taken this one day at a time. I am saddened by Sandy's passing. There is a hole on the jumpseat where she should be and a space in our hearts that belongs to her.

I met Sandy when we worked together briefly at AT&T Universal Card before she went back to flying. We worked on the same team and shared many laughs as well as a love for running. What a friend Sandy was to everyone. My life has been enriched from being a part of her life. Aerobics class in the 80's where we met. Sunning on the beach, riding our bikes in the sand. We had much fun running together for years and doing the River Run every year until I moved away. My heart goes out to her family. She will be missed. Although, she is always with us now. Another guide to help me in my life. What a gift.
