Sarah Thompkins Kelly

KELLY Sarah Thompkins Kelly (Granny) saw God's face and reunited with her son and husband on May 23, 2010 at the age of 82. She passed surrounded by her loving family in Jacksonville, Florida. Sarah is survived by her daughter Kathy Reifers and son-in-law Mack Reifers; son Michael Kelly and daughter-in-law Jackie Kelly; and daughter-in-law Kathy Kelly. Grandson's Matthew Kelly, Richard Kelly, Michael Kelly, and Jason Kelly. Granddaughter's Julie Reifers, Elizabeth Stepp, and Olivia Coker. Great-grand children Makayla Katherine Stepp and Connor Mack Coker. She is also survived by her sister's Lois, Pap, Eadie, and Ida. Sarah was a member of Mandarin Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. A service will be held at Mandarin Baptist on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 11am; a viewing will be at the church between 10 am and 11 am on May 26, 2010. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to City Rescue Mission or Second Harvest food bank. Sarah will be buried in Virginia at Rosewood Memorial Park next to her husband, Richard Edwin Kelly. Sarah Thompkins Kelly was born in Utica, Mississippi April 5, 1928, she moved to North Carolina and resided there until 2002. She then moved to Jacksonville Florida to be closer to her family.
