To entire Whitfield family:
I am very saddened to lose such a sweet person who was a great part of my life. We became friends since childhood and I cannot imagine another Robert E. Lee function without her.
It is difficult to lose a parent, but it is also difficult to lose a friend! This friend was comical, witty, smart, intelligent, thought-provoking, and just fun to be around. I will never forget our lunch, Ann's & Katrina's 40th birthday parties, and so many other occasions where we just laughed and laughed, danced, and enjoyed each other's company.
She will leave a huge void in my heart, but never from my memory. May God strengthen you during this difficult period of your lives.
Know that earth has no sorrow, that heaven cannot heal.
