Shirley and I were like sisters, only because we shared the same name. I am going to miss her. She is in a better place now because she is with the Lord and I will see her soon.

Shirley has been a blessing to me since I met her. She had an uplifting spirit no matter how hard her situations where. She always enjoyed company, gospel music, and of course food. There was always food for company! She had the love of GOD in her and is with our Lord today. I'm sure she would want this opportunity to bring her family members closer to God, and for them to have the joy in life that she has had for many years. May the Lords blessings be upon the family and friends of Shirley!

Heartfelt condolences to husband & family members of Shirley....My sister married Shirley's brother, Paul, when I was only 9 or 10 years old....and Shirley was always exuberant and friendly to everyone...and would include me in her family & their trips. I loved her Mom & Dad & entire family....I have a lot of cherished times & memories of this lady...and also recall her laughter!!! Shirley made an impression on my life & sure she did others.
May all the Love that she shared be a comfort to family now....for she surely will be missed; but, now I'm sure she is rejoicing in Heaven now. It's never a goodbye...just till we meet again..

Can hardly believe that I'm making a message like this for my Ant Shirley so hard to believe she's really gone. But at least God gave us the time and opportunity to be with her in her final moments and it was glorious. She left on her own terms it seemed from a final kiss of her husband to the arms of Jesus Christ, her Savior. She longed to see him and now she is also with Granny and Grandpap who she missed very much. Now we have another reason Not to miss Heaven XOXO

We all are so sadden to hear of the passing of Mrs. Crockett. She was a very sweet person...And as stated never met a stranger.... she will be greatly missed...I' am glad I was able to tell her how much I love her...

Shirley has been my sister-in-law for 59 years and my friend approximately 5 years before her brother Paul and I were married. She lived a good life with and for her husband Cliff and her 3 daughters and grandchildren. Shirley had many people who loved her and she will certainly be missed. See you on the other side Shirley.
