Don, Frank, and Family:

Ma will be greatly missed by all of us, but she will always be remembered and admired for the kind, sweet, loving, caring women she was. She and Pop had the kind of life that anyone would admire and respect. It was such a pleasure to have known both of them. They gave me very fond memories of family gatherings, fishing, and trips to the Bahamas.

I'm glad I got to see her and give her a big hug on Father's Day at church in Fort Pierce. She seemed to be her usual happy and peaceful self. God bless you all and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives.

To Frank, Don and families, Your loss is great. Aunt Sue was always so sweet and kind. She talked about all of you each time we corresponded or talked on the phone. She was so proud of each of you. Family was everything to her. You have my condolences.

To Aunt Sue, Your reunion with my Dad, Twiggs, and all your brothers and sisters is now complete. I have always marveled at the amazing journey all of you experienced in your lifetime. You were all such strong people with good moral values. It never mattered how hard life was. You all seemed to savor every moment of it. You set the bar very high for your decendants. I will miss you always.

Family is important to each of us and

Sue's family was her life. I am proud to have been a part of that family. Knowing that I was named after her was the catalyst that made me want to be like her. Although I didn't get to see her that often, her letters and encouragement kept me going through the darkest of times and the happiest of times. Just know that she was loved and will be missed greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

You were as dainty as a hummingbird with a spirit that soared the sky. Your smile was the kindest and your heart was the biggest. May you rest in peace with the love of your life.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. James,

I am truly sorry for your loss, and offer the following poem as comfort.

WE'RE HOLDING YOU CLOSE IN THE ARMS OF PRAYER

We may not understand all that you're going through, but we're deeply concerned and praying for you. We may not fully grasp the grief and loss you bear, but we're holding you close in arms of faith and prayer. May God's arms hold close, so that you'll be lifted up to higher ground today.
