Tamra Creech Obituary

CREECH Tamra Kelley Creech, 50, passed away September 1st after a lengthy, courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She never lost her sense of humor, love of life or strong spirit. Tamra was so proud when she received her nursing (R.N.) degree in 2006, so she could have the opportunity to care for others. Unfortunately her career was cut short after only nine months of living her dream. Now her dream would be for your help in raising awareness and promoting research of ovarian cancer. She is survived by Kevin, her loving husband of twenty years; 1 son, Jonathan Creech; parents, Dole and Kathy Kelley; 1 sister, Diana Kelley along with numerous family and friends. Riverside Presbyterian Church will host the celebration of Tamra's life on Saturday, September 4th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to OCRF.ORG (Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.org) Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com

Hard to believe you left us 12 years ago! I know you are watching over Jonathan and have so much to be proud of!!
I also know you are probably laughing at me still wearing those big yellow crocs you gave me. I think of you often! Please give Mama and Daddy big kisses from me!

PaPa John,
On behalf of those that served with you I offer our heartfelt condolences in your loss. Tamra never knew a stranger and was always prepared to welcome wandering friends in her home, sick or not. Her gracious hospitality and her gift of care will truly be missed. In this time of loss we lift you and Jonathan up in our thoughts and prayers and as always extend an offer to help in any way possible.

Kevin & Johnny: Tamra was one of the most down to earth persons I knew. A gatherer of people, she was always a gracious hostess, and a GREAT cook. Her artichoke dip will live in infamy! It has been copied but never replaced! Her kind heart is something I will always remember. Tamra lit up a room when she entered it, and people who only met her ONCE remember her. That says something! I love you, and miss my friend. My whole family loves you. The Sluder Family, Lynda, Rusty, Kevin and Kelsey Sluder

I am saddened to hear of my precious friend's death. Death may have taken her, but I rejoice in knowing Jesus took her from death. She fought the good fight, she finished the race, and now she is waiting for her crown of righteousness. Tamra was such a light in this world. She loved, she encouraged, she laughed, she hoped, she held on to life. She was so proud of her son. She so wanted to see him grow up. She will forever be in our hearts and I know she is cheering us on from the other side. Much love and comfort to the family.
