Vadim Komkov Obituary

KOMKOV Vadim Komkov, 88, passed away on May 14, 2008. He was born in Moscow, Russia and was of the Russian Orthodox faith. Vadim was a member of the American Legion, Post 129, AMA, MAA and was the Mascot for the Jacksonville Beach Woman's Club. He is survived by his adoring wife of 17 years, Donna; sons, Leon (Rebecca) and Michael Komkov; daughters, Dr. Andrea Komkov, Stephanie Komkov and Valerie Hill (Glenn); loved step-daughters, Amy Walton and Wendy Tompsen; 5 grandchildren, Jim, John and Laura Komkov and Ian and Naomi Hill. A celebration of Vadim's life will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 4-6 p.m. at Quinn-Shalz, A Family Funeral Home, 3600 3rd Street South, Jacksonville Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of N.E. FL, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL, 32257. Services under the care and direction of: Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
