Linda & Karen, This is the 3rd time trying to get this in....Frances and I were so saddened by ya'lls loss. Cotton and Minnie Lou were like 2nd parents to us. We got to go to church, movies, St Augustine, just about anywhere...Our childhood memories are very precious to us all. I'm sure my Mom and your parents are planning their spring garden right now. Fresh veggies were enjoyed by all. Miss our simple lives....may God bless you two and hold the kids tight. Our parents were tough and had hard lives-they always tried to make ours a little better. Love, Kathy McNeely

Karen and Linda,
I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Thomas's passing, although I know he is in a far better place. I have always had great respect for your dad and your mom. He was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. Take comfort in knowing that you will see him again in Heaven. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Thomas. I worked with him back in the early 80's at Winn Dixie. He was a kind, gentle, and caring person.

I was very sorry to learn of Verlon's passing. My prayers are with the family. I knew him as "Verlon" for many years while he was with Winn-Dixie and I with Gilman Paper. Never met a nicer person.

Dad,
I have a lifetime of memories of you, I hold them in my heart as a treasure. You are in the presence of our Lord now...all things have become clear...I will see you again on the other side of life. I will embrace you again with all the love that only God knows I have had for you all along.
your loving daughter,

I shall never forget your kindness, Mr. Thomas. You were always a gentle loving presence in my childhood as the father of my very best friend. I'm so sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to you. You'll always be in a special place in my heart.
