William Sproules Obituary

SPROULES William (Bill) David Sproules, 72, died on February 4, 2005 in Orange Park, FL. He was born June 5, 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan Sproules, his father William Joseph Sproules, and his mother Felicia Veronica Sproules. He is survived by his children, Keith Sproules, Pete Sproules, Julie Lewis, and Maureen Rio; as well as 2 grandchildren, Lisa Rodriguez and Billy Lewis, all of the Jacksonville area. He also leaves behind a brother, Richard Sproules of Plymouth, Mass; 2 sisters, Barbara Ball of Plymouth, Mass., and Joyce Contrucci of Avon, Mass., numerous in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Bill retired from the United States Navy in 1980 after 20 years of active duty service. He was employed by NADEP at NAS Jacksonville for the last 23 years. He will be remembered for his strong devotion and love of his family and his country. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 11, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Jacksonville Memo ry Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 10 at the funeral home. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com

Dear Candi,

I never got to know youre dad but, he had to be a wonderful man. I know he had to feel really blessed to have a great daughter like you. I know I feel blessed to have you as my friend. His service really touched me. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I love you girl!!! Carole
