Susan and family, We were so very sorry to learn of Jake's passing away. We have been out of town dealing with My Dad for several months. George and Gary just told us that Jake had passed away. Such a shock tool learn! Deeply saddened. Jake was a great friend an Gator game buddy. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. David Nelson

Jake was the BEST of us. That spark of energy that is Jake's soul has returned to the Source of all energy. He promised to save me a place & in "the twinkling of an eye" I will join him. Jake knew that "life is the time that God gives us to determine where we will spend eternity".

Precious memories, how they linger. I am so thankful to have been accepted into the circle of friends and memories that were made on our trips to Maggie Valley playing golf and sitting on the deck looking out at the mountains. Jake was a wonderful friend to my brother Steve and adopted me as a little brother. Jake lives on in our hearts.
