It is with great sadness that the family of Arthur (Bucky) Dunbar Jr., 78 of Westfield announce his passing on August 28, 2021 at home with his family after a long battle with cancer. He was born December 27, 1942 in Troy to Arthur and Thais Dunbar.
He was a lifelong farmer, sending his own milk to market at the age of 12. After retiring from milking he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially when that time involved tractors.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years and loving caregiver Mary; daughters Teresa (Jamie) St. Peter, of Westfield, Rebecca (Tim) McLeod, of Mobile, Ala.; daughter-in-law, Dawn Dunbar, of Westfield; grandsons, Gavin (Andi) Howe, Daniel and Dustin Dunbar, Tucker St. Peter and great-grandson Bryson Howe; sister, Marlene Kemp, of Tioga; brother-in-law, Joe Wachstetter (Diane) of Croydon; sister-in-law, Lillian Nichols of Ulysses; sister-in-law, Patricia Webster (Stan) of Westfield and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jeff Dunbar
The family would like to thank UPMC Cole Hospice of Coudersport.
Per Bucky's wishes, there will be no services. If you would like to honor him and his love of farming, memorial donations can be sent to: Cowanesque FFA, Cowanesque Valley High School, 51 North Fork Rd Westfield, PA 16950.
