Dianna F. Phillips, 75, of Painted Post, N.Y., passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Born on March 20, 1946 in Wellsboro, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Dooley) Bower. Dianna spent her time working as a homemaker, raising her children.
Dianna will be remembered for her love of art - enjoying coloring and drawing. She enjoyed listening to music and was an avid animal lover - rescuing numerous animals over the years. She was a natural caregiver - often putting others before herself and taking care of many children and families in her community. She will be remembered for making those around her laugh.
Dianna is survived by her children, Lisa (David) Moore of Dumfries, Va., Julie (Jeff Scribner) Cotter of Newark, N.Y., Michael (Michelle) Bower of Wellsboro, Melissa (David) Bower-Schilberger of Painted Post, N.Y.;13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven siblings and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dianna was predeceased by her brother, Phil Bower.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday, June 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St., Corning, N.Y. A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 4 p.m., Pastor Craig Snyder officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Corning American Legion, 8 River Road, Corning, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dianna's name may be sent to an SPCA of your choice.

So saddened by the news of Dianna. Kiara and I thoroughly enjoyed our visits with her. She will be missed greatly. Prayers and thoughts go out to her family.
