DIANNE WILLIAMS Obituary

Dianne Lois Williams, 78, of Lakeland, Fla. and previously from Tioga County, passed away at Lakeland Regional Hospital on Nov. 20, 2020.
Dianne was born in Wellsboro on Sept. 13, 1942. She was the daughter of William Edward Scheaffer and Thelma Sweet. She was a graduate of Wellsboro High School.
Dianne married Duncan B. Williams and they shared 59 years together as husband and wife. Duncan survives. She was a homemaker who enjoyed camping, bingo, traveling and most of all, spending time with her beloved family.
Surviving besides her husband, Duncan Williams Sr. of Lakeland, are her children, Gregory Scott (Brenda) Williams of Browntown, Va., Tamala (Doug) Wheaton of Addison, N.Y., Kelli (Dan) Fish of Woodhull, N.Y., Duncan (Bobbie) Williams Jr. of Potter Brook and Linn T Williams of Front Royal, Va.; her siblings, Jackie (Bob) Young, Gloria Cranmer, Judy (Doug) English and Kimberly (Jodi) Sheaffer; 18 grandchildren, several great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Dianne was preceded in death by her father, William Sheaffer, her mother and step-father, Thelma and Chester Goodwin, her grandson, Ryan Treat Williams and her brother, Vernon Ivan Sheaffer.
A Life Celebration and Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, June 26 at the Asaph Campgrounds in Gaines.
