Doris (McKay) Sherman Arzberger, 80, of Mainesburg, passed away on Oct. 13, 2021 at her home. She was born on July 2, 1941 in Blossburg, a daughter of Harry and Luella (O'Dell) McKay. Doris was a member of Bakerburg Community Church and enjoyed daily devotions. She was devoted to her dog, Patsy and was an unpublished author. Doris enjoyed crocheting. She worked as a CNA for Bradford County Manor for 17 years.
Doris is survived by her son, Rusty (Tammy) Sherman of Roseville; three daughters, Dusty (Robert) Frost of Mansfield, Candy (Jamie) Spencer of Mainesburg, Ginger (Rodney) Spencer of Mainesburg; stepson, James (Jean) Sherman Jr. of Scranton; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and a sister, Lucy (Joe) Sargeant.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Sherman, in 1992 and her second husband, Richard Arzberger, in 2020; a brother, Harry McKay Jr. and a grandson, Joshua Spencer, in 2000.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 1 - 2 p.m. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield. A funeral service will follow immediately at 2 p.m. with Pastor Bill Pepper officiating. Burial will take place in State Road Cemetery in Mainesburg.
