Florrie's most fulfilling contribution was crocheting and donating over 300 newborn layette sets to local pregnancy care centers. After many years as an elementary education teacher, she and her husband owned and operated Dove's Catering, Dove's Blue Bell Restaurant and Dove's Mountain Store.
