GAIL A. RUEF

1939 - 2025

Gail A. Ruef, 86, of Westfield, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Haven Place in Lock Haven. Born January 31, 1939, in Blossburg, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Alice (White) Brown. Gail retired from Trucklite and was a member of the Harrison Valley Alliance Church. She enjoyed doing puzzles, her flowers, watching Hallmark movies and most of all her family.
She is survived by her son, Robert O. Ruef Jr. of Mansfield; daughter, Arleen Baker of Galeton; five grandchildren, Dakota Ruef, Delaney Andrews, Allyson Yerrick, Matthew Baker and Stephanie Myers and great-grandchildren, Ryker, Evelyn, Will, Paige, Karlee, Nakayla, Nathan, Aria, Audrey and Asher.
Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Ruef Sr.; daughter, Sue Ann Smith; her beloved dog, Lily, and siblings, Faye Erickson, Charleen Gilbert and Dayton Brown. Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St., Westfield on Friday, November 28 from 12 – 2 p.m. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 2 p.m. with Allyn Baker officiating. Burial will be in Champlin Cemetery.
