IVAN SMITH Obituary

Ivan Junior Smith, 81, of Westfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Born January 2, 1944, in Hudson, N.Y., he was the son of the late Wayne and Mary (Scott) Potter. He was a mechanic and enjoyed tinkering on vehicles, tractors and lawn mowers. He enjoyed hunting and going to the Woodhull races. Ivan was a past member of the Knoxville VFW. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gail A. (Hess) Smith; sons, Joseph Smith and Adam and Lyssa Smith of Little Marsh; siblings, Rosemary Gee, Caroline Potter, Patricia Wright, Donald Potter, Ronald Potter and David Potter and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Viola Bruni, Hattie Harsberger and William Potter. There will be no services at this time.
