NAOMI JEANNE WINNIE

Naomi Jeanne (Buffington) Winnie, 82, of Johnstown, Colorado, originally from Sabinsville, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 21, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at UCHealth Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Winnie, in 1989.
Naomi is survived by her daughter, Linnea Dinh (Rob Parks) of Albert, Kansas; four grandchildren: Jessica Santos (Edwin), Breanna Garcia, Samantha Webster (Drew), and William Dinh (Caity); and several cherished great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is also survived by her siblings: Billie Laird of Johnstown, Colorado; Mary Hendricks of Ocean View, Delaware; James Buffington of Westfield, Pennsylvania; Patricia Wermerskirchen of Frederick, Colorado; John Buffington of Greeley, Colorado; and Tina Paxton of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
A beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt, Naomi had a heart of gold and was always living in service to others. Her generosity extended beyond her family to the many friends she made in Johnstown, Colorado, where she had lived since 1982.
In a final act of service, Naomi donated her body to Science Care of Colorado. No funeral or memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the charity of your choice in her memory.
