WILLIAM BIXBY Obituary
Bill was born Oct. 22, 1947, in Wellsville, N.Y., a son of Clifford and Elizabeth "Betty" (Rice) Bixby. He was the husband of Toni (Jessup) Bixby for 44 years.
Bill was a retired logger for House Lumber Co. He loved the outdoors and being in the woods hunting, fishing, trapping and spending time with his family. Bill was a United States Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Community Grace Fellowship.
Bill is survived by his wife, Toni; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Aaron Bixby of Mansfield, James and Angela Bixby of Elkland; a granddaughter, Kylee Bixby; two step-grandchildren, Corrine and Chad Shuemaker. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Gary Bixby.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, Feb. 24, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., at the funeral chapel with Pastor Guy Thompson officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m., at Hillside Cemetery, Andover, N.Y. with full military honors. www.buckheitfcandcrematoy.com
