Albert Counterman Obituary
Counterman
Albert L. Counterman, 71, of Lehighton, passed away on July 18, 2022, at home. He was the loving husband of the late Lonnie Counterman.
Born in Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Grover and Sarah Jane (Green) Counterman.
Albert enjoyed working on cars and going for long walks around town.
He worked as a cartman for Kinsley's for most of his life.
Most of all he was a loving and caring brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
Albert is survived by his brother, Stewart Counterman; sisters, Denise Smale and Diane Lowry; nieces, Carrie West, Kathy Mertz (Arthur), Mary Counterman, Steph Counterman, Paula Counterman-Taschler, Jenny Counterman-Horn, Tammy Counterman-
Troxell, and Kate Lueders; nephews, Stewart Counterman Jr. and Joseph Counterman; and he had very many great-nieces and nephews and very many great-
great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by four brothers, James, Richard, Ruben and Walter Counterman.
Service: A graveside service will be held at Dotter's Corner Cemetery, Kunkletown, on Saturday, July 23, at 11 a.m.
Arrangements are entrusted to Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322.
Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
