Ann Therese Gribble

Ann Therese Gribble, 70, of Lansford, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in her residence.

Born in Lansford, she was a daughter of the late John Jr. and Mary M. (Melnick) Swider.

She was employed as a presser in various garment factories throughout the area, lastly working for Kay Jay Pants Company Nesquehoning.

She was a 1972 graduate of Marian High School and a member of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church, Lansford.

Ann enjoyed listening to music and going to concerts to see her favorite singers, Rick Springfield and Michael Jackson.

Her family would like to thank Pauline Bennett and her family for their outstanding altruism and friendship over the last couple years

Surviving are a son, William Gribble of Lansford; brothers, John P. Swider, and his wife, Barbara, of Halifax, and Thomas Swider, and his wife, Lynne, of Harrisburg; and a niece, Jean Harrison.

Service: Office of Christian Burial with funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, in St. John Byzantine Church, 104 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, with the Rev. Gregory Hosler officiating. Interment, parish cemetery, Summit Hill. Call 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and 10-10:30 a.m. Thursday, Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St. Nesquehoning.
