Aseneth Horan Obituary
Aseneth I. Horan, 97, formerly of Mahanoy City, Lakeview, and Tamaqua, died Monday in Coaldale. She was the widow of John Horan, who died in 1983.
She was last employed at Ronal Manufacturing in Barnesville.
Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late George and Ann (Heil) Hudson.
Aseneth was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Barnesville.
She was also a member of the ILGWU and the Tamaqua and Rush-Ryan-Quakake Senior Citizens
Surviving are two sons, Thomas G. Horan of rural Tamaqua and John P. Horan and his wife, Martha, of Barnesville; a daughter Elizabeth C. "Bettsy" Hadesty of Tamaqua; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchldren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by a half sister, Dorothy Davies.
Service: 11 a.m., Friday, from the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, with the Rev. Greg Hafer officiating. Interment, German Protestant Cemetery, Mahanoy City. Call 10 to 11 a.m. Friday.
