Barbara Cebollero Obituary
Barbara May Cebollero, 92, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Home, Kunkletown, with her loving family at her side. She was the loving wife of the late Frank Cebollero, who preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1999.
Born in London, England, on July 20, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Ivy May (Davis) Knappett.
Barbara was an administrative assistant for Bell Telephone in Brooklyn and Bay Shore, N.Y.
We have been blessed with the presence of Barbara in our lives. She will be dearly missed by her children, Robert J. Cebollero Sr. (Sharon A.) of Lehighton, Danny L. Cebollero (Nancy) of Middle Island, N.Y., and Wayne F. Cebollero (Lisa) of Commack, N.Y.
She was the loving grandmother to Robert J. Cebollero Jr. (Nawa), Limara Castro, Moriah DiMaria (Mark), Samantha Cebollero, Nicholas Cebollero, Justin Cebollero, Scott Cebollero and Joseph Cebollero; and great-grandmother to Michael Castro, Ryan Castro, Isabella Castro, Ravenna DiMaria and Kai Orion Cebollero, who all lovingly called her Nana.
She is also survived by a brother, Paul Knappett (Paula) of East Mersea, Essex, UK; and a sister, Jennifer Gregory of Colchester, Essex, UK.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert. Interment at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, N.Y. Call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, 1426 Rt. 209, Gilbert. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the American Red Cross, 410 Park Ave., Stroudsburg, PA 18360. www.gowerfuneralhome.com.
