David Snyder Obituary
David L. Snyder, 78, of Palmerton, passed away Tuesday, March 3 in his home. He was the husband of Donna (Les) Snyder. They were recently married after 43 years of devoted partnership.
He spent his career as an educator first in the Middletown, NY School District, then in the Pleasant Valley School District until retiring in 1999 after 31 years of service.
David was a graduate of Palmerton Area HS and Pennsylvania State University.
Born in Palmerton, he was a son of Virginia "Dolly" (Smith) and the late Quinton Snyder.
Survivors: Wife; mother; stepson Michael Les and wife Kristina; grandchildren Levi and Isabel Les; sister Roseann and husband Fred Lesher; brothers Barry and wife Sharon, Brian and wife Cathy; several nieces.
Services: Private, at the convenience of family. Arrangements, T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, Palmerton.
Contributions: Carbon County Friends of Animals, 77 W 13th St, Jim Thorpe 18229; Carbon County Animal Shelter, 63 Broad St, Nesquehoning 18240.

David was the quiet and reserved family member, loved by the Snyder clan. He will be missed and will be consoled as we mourn knowing he will RIP.

I remember Mr. Snyder from when I was a student at Pleasant Valley high school. I graduated the class of 1972. I´m not sure what year he began teaching there. But he was a very nice man and was well l liked by all my fellow classmates! My condolences to Mrs. Snyder and his entire family! May he rest in peace!
