Donna Walters Obituary
Mrs. Donna L. Walters, 73, formerly of Slatington, passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township, after being a resident there for six years. She was the loving wife of Leon Walters. They were married for 54 years in June.
She was employed in banking, insurance, floral design, doing nails and served in clerical with Steckel & Stopp Law Office, Slatington, before retiring.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Jean (George) Sell.
She was a 1970 graduate of the former Slatington High School and was a member of Good Shepherd UCC, Slatington, and Citizens Fire Co. No. 1, Slatedale, where she served as a past president.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cedarbrook for their personal care and comfort to Donna during her stay.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Leon Walters of Slatington, are a daughter Jeralyn, wife of Aaron Schoch of Slatington; a son, Jarret Walters, husband of Michelle, of Key West, FL; and a stepgrandson Aiden.
Service: Funeral service noon Wednesday, Sept. 24, Good Shepherd UCC, 3940 Mountain Rd., Slatington, with the Rev. James D. Robison Jr. officiating. Interment, Slatedale Cemetery. Call 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday. Arrangements are entrusted to the Kevin E. Hunsicker Funeral Home, Slatedale. Contributions in her name may be made to Citizens Fire Co. No. 1, Inc., P.O. Box 179, Slatedale, PA 18079.

Her laughter brought a smile, her smile touched our hearts. Her heart was filled with joy!.. we have lost a wonderful woman here on earth, but gained an amazing angel to watch over the family, friends, workers, and the passers. I'm sorry Leon, for she was a wonderful person who brought you many things... the best thing was being in her life. In ours hearts forever .. chad and Connie wilt. She'll be an aunt we shall miss.

What a nice picture of my friend Donna. She was a happy cheerful person and I loved having her as a client at my salon for a few years . She will be missed .. love hugs and prayers for her family
