Helen Zolnowsky Obituary

Helen Zolnowsky

Helen Zolnowsky (Kirklewski), lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on September 30, 2025, at 67 years old, while home, with her eldest sister Louise by her side. On that day, she joined family in heaven; her mother Helen Kirklewski (Thomae), her father Joseph Anthony Kirklewski, her sister Barbara Pritchard (Kirklewski), her sister Maryann Carney (Kirklewski), her niece Eva Marie, as well as her dear cat Noël and her beloved dog Roxy.

Helen was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 6, 1957. As a child her family moved to Long Island, New York, graduated from William Floyd High School. She settled in Pennsylvania over 25 years ago, most recently living in Slatington.

She will be lovingly remembered by neighbors, friends and family for her fun loving spirit, big generous heart and undying love for all animals. She is survived by her son Richard Joseph Mack (Nicole) in Virginia, 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter, her eldest sister Louise Mazza (Kirklewski) in Pennsylvania, her next eldest sister Joanne Sticarsky (Kirklewski) in NewYork, 4 nieces and 1 nephew (New York, Pennsylvania and Florida).

Helen's cremated remains will be spread privately in beautiful places by her family. Please consider making a donation in her memory to "Peaceable Kingdom" a no kill, volunteer run shelter that also offers low cost veterinary services in Whitehall Pennsylvania.
