James Buck Obituary
James C. Buck, 75, of Palmerton, died Friday, Feb. 4, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus.
He served honorably in Vietnam as an Airman in the U.S. Air Force. He went on to serve active duty in the Army National Guard at its armory in Lehighton for 18 years. He also worked for area companies as a carpenter until 2009.
Jimmy was a member of Jerusalem United Church of Christ, Trachsville.
He enjoyed hunting and spending time at the local VFW, American Legion and Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club.
Born in Palmerton, Jimmy was a son of the late Clair and Pauline (George) Buck.
Survivors: son, Jason; granddaughters Addison and Amelia; sister, Carolyn, and husband Douglas Lenik; brother, Robert.
He was predeceased by his son, Joshua; sister, Barbara Kessler; and brother, David.
Services: Memorial, 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 in the church, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville). Call 10-11 a.m. Saturday in church. Arrangements, T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, Palmerton.

Deep condolences to Jim's family in your time of loss. Besides his friendship at church, Jim was always a person who was willing to share his time and honest opinions with me. I enjoyed visiting him at Phoebe from time to time and via Facebook. He was a good man and an honest one. He served his country and church well. Well done good and faithful servant. You have earned your rest. Godspeed.

He use to call me his neighbor because I live
in Towamensing Twsp. He told me about the old
neighbor and the area. I will miss talking to
