JoAnn Stianche Obituary

JoAnn Stianche

JoAnn Stianche, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, PA.

Born on April 16, 1960, in Lehighton, PA, JoAnn was a cherished daughter to the late Charles "Skip" McGowan and Esther (Coll) McGowan. Her warm presence and thoughtful nature left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

JoAnn's life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family and community. She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Richard, and was a guiding light to her daughter, Roxann Raczkowski, and her husband, Joseph, of Jim Thorpe, PA. JoAnn's love and wisdom were also a cornerstone for her son, Richard Stianche Jr., and his wife, Jennifer, of Tamaqua, PA. Her brother, Chuck McGowan, and his wife, Kim, of York, PA, will fondly remember her nurturing spirit.

Her role as a grandmother was one of JoAnn's greatest joys. Grandchildren Derian, Alexa, Marcus, and Paige will carry forward the lessons of compassion and generosity that she instilled in them.

JoAnn's professional life was marked by her hard work and commitment. She spent many years at a former Calvin Klein dress factory, KJ's, and later brought her diligent work ethic to Redner's in Nesquehoning, where she was a respected and valued team member. Her involvement in her workplace and associations was characterized by her willingness to help and her ever-present smile.

Beyond her professional endeavors, JoAnn's interests were diverse and community-focused. She was known for her loving nature, which extended beyond her immediate family to touch the lives of many in her community. JoAnn's kindness and thoughtfulness were the pillars upon which she built her life, and these traits were evident to all who had the pleasure of crossing her path.

JoAnn's life story is one of unwavering love and selfless service. Her legacy is one of kindness, thoughtfulness, and a deep commitment to her family and friends. As we remember JoAnn, we are reminded of the profound impact one person can have on the lives of many. She will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

In her passing, the world has lost a truly beautiful soul, but the memories and love she shared will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her gracious spirit. JoAnn Stianche will be remembered not just for the life she lived, but for the love she gave and the grace with which she walked through the world.

All services will be private.
