Joseph Kovalovsky

Joseph Kovalovsky, 59, of Coaldale, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, in St. Luke's Hospital, Coaldale. He was the husband of Denise Kovalovsky. They were married on October 26, 2001, and celebrated 21 years of marriage.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Irene (Rosko) Kovalovsky.

He was employed as an electrician and last worked for Dun-Rite Electrical Services, Whitehall.

Joseph was an avid fisherman and enjoyed wood carving. He loved playing the guitar and enjoyed playing in a band when he was younger.

He was of Catholic faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Denise, are two stepchildren, Allen Bauder and his wife, Ashley, of Andreas, and Amy Kostick and her husband, David, of Coaldale; sister, Irene Goosley, of Bethlehem; stepmother, Patricia Kovalovsky, of Bethlehem; five step-grandchildren, Alexis, Aaron, Alixzander, Jocelynn, and Joshua; and two step-great-grandchildren, Isabella and Anaya.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Kovalovsky.

Private service with interment in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
