Julianna Eidem Obituary
Mrs. Julianna Eidem, 74, of Long Run Road, Franklin Township, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025, in the Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. Her husband of 47 years, Ronald W. Eidem Sr., passed away in 2015.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Burgess and Gladys (Hunsicker) Nansteel.
She was a 1969 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.
She was a member of Salem Bible Fellowship Church, Mahoning Township.
Julianna loved her family and her home which was the hub for holiday family get-togethers.
She was a country music fan and along with her daughter, Korie, was a frequent concert goer at Penn's Peak.
Surviving are a daughter, Koriena Berger; sons, Richard Eidem, and his wife, Rhonda, and Edward Eidem, and his wife, Kelly; daughters-in-law, Lisa Eidem and Brooke Eidem; brothers, David "Barney" Nansteel and Terry "Tex" Nansteel; 24 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by sons, Jason C. Eidem and Ronald W. Eidem Jr. a sister Sara; and a son-in-law, Duane Berger.
Service: There will be a celebration of life service announced at a later date. The Mayes-Melber Funeral Home, 200 Franklin St., Weissport, is in charge of the arrangements.

I met Julianna many years ago through our employment at GHMH. She spoke often of her children and grandchildren. Julianna remained cheerful and outgoing as her health would allow, always interested in a caring compassionate way in the lives of others. RIP Julianna.

Julia was a long time sister pen pal of mine. I will miss her cheery letters and beautiful handwriting. She was truly a kind and caring friend. My heartfelt condolences to the Eidem family. May sweet Julie rest in the arms of angels in heavenly peace with her dear husband and family.
