Mrs. Kimberly Ann (Hyska) Green

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kimberly Ann "Peaches" Green on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at the age of 45.

She was born Sept. 4, 1980, in Allentown, the daughter of Sheila (Snyder) Hyska of Jim Thorpe and the late Richard Hyska.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Hyska, and her cherished pets, Teddy, Molly Ann, Meow Meow and Butch.

Kimberly was a 1999 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School, where she was named Color Guard MVP. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Cedar Crest College in 2004 where, as RA, she was a welcoming presence for hundreds of students far from home. She went on to earn her M.A. from Ashford University in 2017 and her MBA from University of Arizona in 2021.

Kimberly grew her professional career as a dedicated employee of 21 years with T-Mobile. Starting in customer service, she advanced to the role of Rural Market Manager which brought her to reside in Huntington, WV. Known for her strong support and advocacy on behalf of her team members, Kimberly also found joy in finding resourceful ways to support her community.

Despite her extensive professional responsibilities, Kim frequently volunteered her time and sought out numerous grants to support local organizations such as Fisher House and the Humane Society.

Kim was recognized nationally by T-Mobile in multiple years for her exceptional performance and achievements.

A lifelong learner, Kimberly loved exploring the world and learning from those around her. Her travels took her to places such as Croatia and Poland, and she loved camping at the Mauch Chunk Lake.

Immensely creative, she spent time painting and drawing and embraced new hobbies with excitement. Kimberly delighted in cooking for others and caring for her many rescue pets.

If you were lucky enough to be a friend of Kimberly's, then you were truly blessed. A one-of-a-kind person, she was a dedicated friend and fiercely loved her family. Kimberly could always be counted on to make sure that no one, whether friend or a stranger, went without a place to stay and a home cooked meal.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Chad Andrew Green, originally of Palmerton; her sister, Lisa Ann Williams (Peter) of Jim Thorpe; and her beloved nieces and nephews.

Services: Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 30 in the Union Hill Cemetery, Lehighton, followed by a memorial service at Stewart Hall in Bear Creek Lakes, 57 Pool Drive, Jim Thorpe. Henson and Kitchen Mortuary and Cremation is caring for the family in West Virginia and Melber Funeral Home is caring for the family locally.
