Kimberly Griffith Obituary
Kim was a school nurse for the Penn Hills School District and was actively involved in the Girl Scouts and the Boy Scouts of America.
Brenna and Mikaela were students at the Center Elementary School and were active in soccer and the Girl Scouts.
Kim was the daughter of Charles and Sally (Mantz) Mateyak of Lewistown Valley, Tamaqua.
Surviving, in addition to Kim's husband and parents, are a daughter, Emily and a son, Christian; father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Cornella Griffith; two sisters, Christine, wife of Eric Zizelmann and Megan, wife of Aaron Frantz; two brothers, Paul and his wife, Sharon, and Matt and his wife, Jennifer; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kim, who was a loving and devoted mother, always willing to volunteer and lend a hand, was also preceded in death by a brother, Chad.
Service: Funeral service Wednesday, 10 a.m., at the Murrysville Community Church. Interment, Plum Creek Cemetery. Call Monday 5-9 p.m. or Tuesday, 1-4 p.m. or 6-9 p.m. at the Jobe Funeral Home, Turtle Creek. Memorials in their name may be made to a memorial fund at the S&T Bank, 800 Philadelphia, P.O. Box 190, Indiana, PA 15701. Online condolences may be made at www.jobefuneralhome.com.

Today was the day the girls and you left us 4 years ago. I looked up at the beautiful clouds today and saw three sets of angel wings. It reminded me of the flutter of butterfly wings we watched on flowers at the farm pond when the girls were so small. The multiple colors on their wings can't compare to the lives you and the girls touched. Thanks for precious memories you left as you flew away. Although your physical presence no longer exists I know spiritually you are with all of us.

its been over 2 years since this tragic accident...I was friends with Brenna and miss her dearly..Kim was our Girl Scout leader and was beyond amazing..Mikaela attended some GS meetings and was always running around.. she was the happiest little girl you could ever meet. Mikaela and Brenna were pleasing to be around..they could brighten your day just by talking to you. I miss all of them very much and think about them everyday. they will always be in my heart and our guardian angels :)

I do not know The Griffith Family, but left pink & white rose buds at the girl's elementary school after praying for your family at church Sunday.
