Larry Buck Obituary

Larry L. Buck
Larry L. Buck, 71, of Buck Hill Road, Palmerton, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, in his home. He is the husband of Gail (Gruber) Buck.
He retired from the U.S. Steel Mill in 1985 and from PennDOT in 2015.
Born in Aquashicola, he was a son of the late Carl and Hannah Buck.
He had an amazing talent in woodworking, enjoyed NASCAR, and spent his earlier years helping teams at Mahoning Valley Speedway. Larry volunteered to coach Little League and soccer when his children were younger.
Surviving are a sister, Linda, wife of James Hill, and a brother, Lanny L. Buck, and his wife, Linda, both of Palmerton; a sister-in-law, Betty Serfass of Yardley; three daughters, Tammy, wife of Arthur White in Florida, Nicole, wife of Joel Smith of Kresgeville, and Jessica Buck, wife of Marc Nansteel of Lehighton; two sons, Larry Buck of Palm and Carl Buck in Italy; a stepson, Michael Shupp of Kittatinny; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also predeceased by brother, Dwight T. Serfass.
Service: Larry's wish was to not have a funeral service, so we are honoring his final wishes. In lieu of flowers and cards, contributions in his name may be made in his memory to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090.
