Lisa Hine Obituary
She was a 1986 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.
She was a member of Dinkey Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ashfield, and was active with the Lehighton Football Touchdown Club, FBLA and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Palmerton.
She loved working with children and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved the City of Pittsburgh.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are a son Logan, a daughter Olivia and her father- and mother-in-law, Tim and Dottie Hine, all of Mahoning Township; two brothers, David, and his wife, Sue, in Florida, and Charles, and his wife, April, in Colorado; two sisters, Jennifer in Tennessee and Cheryl, wife of Tom Regal of Bowmanstown; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a brother Todd.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, Dinkey Memorial Lutheran Church, Ashfield, with the Rev. Anthony Pagotto officiating. Interment, church cemetery. Call 9-11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Contributions in her name may be made to the church, 1742 Dinkey Rd., Ashfield, Pa. 18212; the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Tex. 75265-0309; or to the family, c/o the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Third and Alum streets, Lehighton, Pa. 18235, to help towards funeral expenses. Doug, Logan and Olivia, I am so very sorry for your loss. I am deeply saddened by the news and my heart goes out to all of you. It was truly an honor and privilege to have known Lisa. To Doug and family, I am very sorry for your loss. I knew Lisa from the school, where I would work with one of her students. Lisa was always caring and worked very hard to help this child. Even though I am not a member of the school district, she always gave me the time to talk about progress and upcoming needs.
