Michael Bramich Obituary

Michael H. 'Hobbit' Bramich

Michael H. "Hobbit" Bramich, 68, of Jim Thorpe, passed away on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, in his home. He was the husband of RuthAnn (Yaich) Bramich, to whom he was married on Sept. 16, 1994.

He worked as a maintenance mechanic for Aetna Felt, Allentown, for many years before retiring.

Born on Thursday, Oct. 17, 1957, in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Harlan Bramich and Blanche (Moyer) Bramich.

Mike was a true jack of all trades who poured pride and craftsmanship into everything he touched. On weekends, you could count on finding him out on the mountain with his friends - riding quads, laughing and soaking in the freedom of the outdoors - or cruising on his Harley with the wind on his face and a smile that said he was exactly where he belonged.

He loved his family fiercely and showed that love through quiet, constant acts of generosity. Mike had this gift for showing up for others, no matter who they were or what they needed, offering help with a selflessness that left a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to have known him.

Surviving in addition to his wife are her sons, Ryan Bramich, and his wife, Sarah, of Allentown, Ian Bramich in California, and James Fisher, and his wife, Paula, and John Fisher, and his wife, Alyssa, both of Lehighton; a sister, Carol Bramich of Nesquehoning; grandchildren, Aliyah, Rylee, Logan, Teagan and Jameson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also predeceased by son, Justin Bramich; brothers, Harlan and Barry; and a sister Judy.

Service: A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. The Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview St., Lehighton, is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.schislerfuneralhomes.com.

Dear Ruth and family,
Kevin and I are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing, Kevin had many good times with him in the garage as Mike would be fixing his Motorcycle and Mike would be yelling at Kevin to buy a new bike!!! we will miss him as many will. He was a good guy. Were sure he is looking down with a beer in hand fixing a motorcycle or 4 wheeler. RIP dear friend. Love Kevin and Nancy Trice.
