Michael L. Zellner, 59, of Lansford, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at his residence. He was the husband of Janet (Gildea) Zellner. They were married for 36 years this past October.
Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Joseph Zellner Jr. and Carol (Rehrig) Zellner of Le-
highton.
He was a graduate of Le-
highton High School, Class of 1980.
Michael worked for 25 years at A.J. Oster in Fogelsville as a foreman.
In 2011, he then attended LCCC where he received an associate degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant, having worked for several Lehigh Valley Health Network facilities.
He was a member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley in Summit Hill. Michael was an avid N.Y. Mets and Dallas Cowboys fan.
He enjoyed taking long rides on his bicycle and being outdoors, including long walks with his beloved dog Molly and working in his garden where he had an expert green thumb.
He had an outgoing personality which gave him the ability to strike up conversations with strangers and make friends everywhere he went. He was an extremely hard worker, and did everything he could to provide the best life for his wife and kids, who will miss him deeply.
Surviving, along with his loving wife and mother; are a son, Bryn Zellner, and his wife Shannon Thomas, of Lansford; daughter, Alyssa Zellner, and her companion Aaron Burdick, of Lansford; brothers, Joe Zellner III, and his wife Kathy, of Lehighton, and Howard Zellner, and his wife Andrea, of Palmerton; sister, Tammy Bennett, and her husband Tony, of Northampton; many nieces and nephews.
Service: Funeral service is on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 1 p.m. from the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill. Calling hours from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
