Mrs. Mildred M. "Millie" Boyer, 85, of New Ringgold, formerly of South Liberty Street, Orwigsburg, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, in her residence with her family at her side. She was the widow of Robert C. Boyer.
Born in New Ringgold on July 30, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Dorothy Irene (Burkey) Kistler and Harold Issac Kistler.
She attended Tamaqua Area High School and worked as a folder in the textile industry and was also a cap loader for the Atlas Powder Company in Tamaqua.
Surviving are a daughter, Diane Kimmel, and sons, Terry Boyer, husband of Mary, and Robert Shappell, of Orwigsburg.
She was also preceded in death by her sons, Ricki Boyer, Randy Boyer and Ryan Boyer; and daughters, Christine Boyer and Debbie Kistler.
Service: Religious service 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Orwigsburg. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Visitation 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9.
