Nicholas Susko Obituary

Nicholas Susko, 95, of West 10th Street, Jim Thorpe, died Sunday, Oct. 23, in Maple Shade Meadows, Nesquehoning. He was the husband of the late Jolan G. (Tizekker) Susko, who died in 2006.
He was a former millwright for the Whippany Paper Mill, Whippany, N.J.
Born in New York City, N.Y., he was a son of the late Theodore and Julia (Guzak) Susko.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served as a staff sergeant in the European and African theaters.
Surviving are three sons, Nicholas, Frank and Andrew, and his wife, Akantha, all of Jim Thorpe; two daughters, Evelyn, wife of Samuel Rossi of Lake Hopatcong, N.J., and Donna, wife of John Borosh of Jim Thorpe; two brothers, two sisters, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Service: Private funeral service at convenience of family. Arrangements by Edward F. Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe.

My deepest sympathy to the Nick Susko family. I always will have fond memories of when we were kids growing up and Uncle Nick and my cousin's would come to Nesquehoning to visit. May he rest in peace. Julianne Susko Dampman
