Peter J. Snyder

Peter J. "Peteo" Snyder, 69, of Lehighton, passed away Monday, October 27. He was the husband of Carol (Romig) Snyder. They were married 27 years last June.

He worked as a first class journeyman lineman for PPL for many years.

Pete was an accomplished high school athlete in basketball and track. He loved fishing, camping, nature and animals.

Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late James and Lorraine (Searfoss) Snyder.

Survivors: Wife; stepson Robert Keyser; beloved canine companion Mocha.

Services: Private, at the convenience of family.

Contributions: Palmerton Cat Project, P.O. Box 24, Palmerton PA 18071.
