Richard 'Rick' Goho

Richard "Rick" Goho, 68, of Walker Township, died on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of Elaine (Wadyak) Goho, with whom he would have celebrated 38 years of marriage on July 30, 2025.

Born in Coaldale, Rick was a son of the late John and Emma (Stahler) Goho. He attended Tamaqua schools and was employed as a mechanic at Fox Transportation in Hometown for over 20 years. Rick loved classic cars and was well known by friends and family as a jack-of-all-trades who could make whatever was needed to get the job done.

Surviving are his loving wife, Elaine of Walker Township; a son, Shawn Zehner and his fiancé Tanya Romig of Middleport; two daughters, Karen Brode and her husband John of Tamaqua, and Lisa Zehner and her companion Daniel Coccio of Tamaqua; six grandsons, Dilian Zehner, Devon Zehner, Jacob Brode, Nicholas Zehner, Alex Zehner and Chase Brode; one granddaughter, Merranda Zehner; one great granddaughter, Kaylie, and a great granddaughter and a great grandson both due in October; one brother, Jack Goho of West Penn Township; one sister, Connie Sheeler of Barnesville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Robert and William Goho; and two sisters, Patricia Evans and Dorothy Frye.
