Issermoyer Jr.
Richard J. "Issy" Issermoyer Jr. of Eagle Rock Resort, Hazleton, died Thursday in his home. He was the husband of Karen E. (Kellerman) Issermoyer. They were married for 42 years.
He was owner and operator of Issy's Poultry and Meats, Allentown.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Richard Sr. and Imogene (Smith) Issermoyer.
He was a member of Calvary Wesleyan Church, Bethlehem.
Issermoyer was an Army veteran.
While living in Coplay, he served on the borough council as president. He was also the secretary of Coplay Sports for 20 years.
The deceased was avid golfer and fisherman.
He was a Humanity Gift Donor.
Surviving in addition to his widow are four sons, Richard III, and his wife, Mary-Beth, of Allentown, and Todd, James and Jason; four daughters, Cindy wife of A. Drew Garrison in North Carolina, Marie, wife of Donald Dreisbach, Beth, wife of Josef Fragnito of Whitehall, and Melissa, wife of David Sutliff of Walnutport; a sister, Faye Ward in Texas; and 19 grandchildren.
