Robert Cebollero Obituary

Robert J. Cebollero Sr.

Robert J. Cebollero Sr., 71, of Lehighton, passed away on Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He was the loving husband of Sharon A. (Russell) Cebollero. They celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on Sept. 17.

Born in Colchester, England, on Sept. 20, 1952, he was a son of the late Frank and Barbara May (Knappett) Cebollero.

An entrepreneur, he built his business, Mountain Intermodal, Inc., Stroudsburg, when he was in his early 20s and the business is still thriving today.

We will remember him as we think about the things he loved to do ~ all his life, he loved music and played in several bands, playing bass and acoustic guitars.

On beautiful days, he loved to hit the open road riding his motorcycles.

His favorite memory of his children since they were babies related to songs – Robert was Rhinestone Cowboy, Limara was He didn't have to be and Moriah was Shower the People.

We have been blessed with the presence of Robert in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Sharon A. Cebollero of Lehighton; son, Robert J. Cebollero Jr., and his spouse, Nawa, of Riverside, CA; and daughters, Limara Cebollero of Effort and Moriah DiMaria, and her spouse, Mark, of Manalapan, NJ..

He was the loving grandfather to Michael, Ryan, Isabella, Ravenna and Kai, who lovingly called him grandad.

Robert is also survived by two brothers, Danny L. Cebollero, and his spouse, Nancy, of Middle Island, N.Y., and Wayne F. Cebollero, and his spouse, Lisa, of Commack, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
