Robert M. Piscelli

Robert M. "Bob" Piscelli, 89, of Lansford, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2204, in the Forest Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Weatherly. He was the husband of the late Frances C. (Culley) Piscelli, who passed away on Oct. 29, 2019.

Born in Lansford, he was a son of the late Frank and Alice (Baldini) Piscelli.

He was a graduate of St. Ann's High School, Lansford.

Bob worked for the Panther Valley School District for many years, having been a bus driver as well as Head of Transportation. He also had worked as a custodian for the school district.

Bob was a member of the former St. Ann's Catholic Church, Lansford.

He was an avid Penn State football fan.

Bob had a passion for sports, especially having instilled his love and knowledge of baseball and basketball throughout the lives of his grandchildren. He most of all loved his family, having spent as much time as he could with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are his daughters, Nadine Gorka, and her companion, Nelson "Tanner" Ulshafer of Lansford, and Janine, wife of Andrew McFadden of Summit Hill; sisters, Josephine Gotta in Connecticut and Gloria Daneker of Lansdale; grandchildren Ryan Gorka, and his wife, Megan, Eric McFadden, and his companion, Mary Mantenach, and Dana McFadden; and great-grandchildren, Cam, Brody and Anthony.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Frank Piscelli; sisters, Mary Vasquez and Theresa Frank; sons, James Piscelli, Mark Piscelli and Robert Piscelli Jr.; and a grandson, Andrew J. "Andy" McFadden.
