Ronald Strohl Obituary
Ronald I. Strohl, 82, of Lehighton, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022. He was the husband of Gail (Lower) Strohl, who he married on Oct. 29, 1983.
Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late Irwin H. and Marie H. (Mack) Strohl.
He served our country hono-rably and proudly as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Penn State University, and then worked as an electrical engineer for AT&T.
He was a 40-year member of the Slatington Masonic Lodge 440 F&AM, and a member of Walnutport VFW Post 7215 and the American Legion Post 16, Slatington.
Surviving in addition to his widow are four children, Wanda, wife of Keith Krum of Lehighton, Debbie Strohl of Slatington, Michael Lower, and his wife, Jill, of Lansford, and Jeni Grimes in Oregon; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was also predeceased by two sons, Ronald Scott and Kyle James Strohl.
Service: Memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, Faith Alive United Methodist Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton. Interment with military honors, Towamensing Cemetery, Palmerton. Call 10-11 a.m. Saturday. Arrangements by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospital or Disabled American Veterans Charity, c/o the funeral home, 18080.

Gail and family, Barry and I were so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was a great guy and will be truly missed. Always had a great laugh and big smile. We have lots of good memories. We will be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
