Rudolph Phillips Jr.
Rudolph "Rudy" Phillips Jr., 82, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 9, 2022, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Miners Campus, Coaldale. He was the husband of the late Dolores "Dee" (Zonca) Phillips, who passed away on July 5, 2007.
He was an accountant for Cornell University and was also a doorman in New York City.
Born in New York City, NY, he was a son of the late Rudolph Sr. and Anna (Burzenski) Phillips.
He was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Nesquehoning.
Rudolph and his wife Dolores were the founding members of the Nesquehoning Crime Watch.
His favorite pastime was playing cards.
Surviving are a daughter Donna, wife of Robert Slatus of Brooklyn, NY; two sons, Robert of Nesquehoning and Gary, and his wife, Julie, of Long Island, NY; a sister Loretta; twin brothers, Ronnie, and his wife, Pam, and Randy Phillips; three grandchildren, Christopher, Cameron and Ashton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Carol, Roberta, Francis and Loraine; and two brothers, Robert and Richard.
Service: Funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday, April 14, Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, with the Rev. Robert George officiating. Interment,
