Sheldon Croll Obituary
Sheldon E. Croll, 69, of Barnesville, passed away on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Hamilton Street Campus, Allentown.
Born on Friday, Dec. 30, 1955, in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Carroll S. and Ethel M. (Keich) Croll.
He was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Ramona "Mona" (Bannan) Croll, who died on May 1, 2021, and a grandson, Silas Culp.
Surviving are a daughter, Lindsey Croll, and her companion, Zach Culp; sisters, Carol E. Haldeman of Tamaqua and Nancy Ambridge of Emmaus; grandchildren, Aiden Culp and Rory Culp; and many nieces and nephews.
A 1973 Tamaqua Area High School graduate, Sheldon owned and operated Sheldon Croll Oil & Coal, a family business, for many years.
He was affiliated with Christ U.C.C. - White Church of Barnesville.
Sheldon enjoyed wintering in Florida, collecting cars, riding his motorcycle and the companionship of his loyal dogs, Abby and Coal.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, with the Rev. Kevin Roberts officiating. Interment, White Church Cemetery, Barnesville. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday. Contributions in his name may be made to Char-Will Kennels, 2 E. Railroad Ave., New Ringgold, PA 17960.
