Shirley Chimich Obituary
Shirley M. Chimich, 89, of Walnutport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Steve Chimich Sr., who passed away in December 2004.
Born on March 12, 1936, in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Richard J. Mann and Mildred M. (Buskirk) Breining.
Shirley worked at Slatington Manufacturing as a supervisor.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Slatington, and St. Peter's Church, Emerald.
Surviving are a son, Steve Jr., and his wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Ashley Reinik, and her husband, Alex, Brittany Moll and Brandon Moll, and his wife, Jessica; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Austin, Logan, Everly, Levi, CJ, Olivia and Madison; and several siblings, nieces and nephews.
Service: Private services are under the care of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton. Online condolences may be offered at www.reichelfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to St. Peter's Church, 7860 Center St., Slatington, PA 18080.
