Virginia Nace Obituary
Mrs. Virginia Lee (Derr) Nace, 75, of Lansford, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem Campus. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Nace Sr., who passed away on Dec. 9, 2023.
Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Mary (Walck) Derr.
She was a homemaker.
Virginia enjoyed cooking and shopping, but especially loved time spent with her family. She was an extraordinary mother and grandmother.
Surviving are daughters, Teresa Weirich and her husband, Ed, of Lansford, and Catherine Luffman and her husband, Greg, in Virginia; sons, Arthur J. Nace Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Oil City, and Mikey Nace of Lansford; a sister, Sarah Walck of Weatherly; grandchildren, Melissa, Mary, Lewie, Edwin Jr., Courtney, Aaron, Amiera, Jack, Haley and Luke; great-grandchildren, Lewie Jr., David, William, TJ, Kacie, Julien, Layla and Maria; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by an infant son; sisters, Ellen Walck and Arlene O'Gorman; a brother, Franklin Derr; and a grandson, William Weirich.
Service: Private funeral service at convenience of family. Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, Nesquehoning, is entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences can be offered at www.blazoskyfh.com.
