Aaron Stange Obituary
Aaron A. Stange, 43, of La Salle, MI, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Toledo, OH on February 19, 1975.
Aaron worked at General Motors Tech. Center, where he enjoyed his career as a small truck frame engineer. Aaron was a Past Commodore of the Toledo Ice Yacht Club (2006), a member of the North Cape Yacht Club, and a former Junior Member at the Jolly Rogers Sailing Club. He had been an avid sailor from a young age, having won multiple awards.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Kim née Tolles; children, Kylie Miller, Jacob and Joanne Stange; parents, Robert and Julia Stange; and siblings, Rob Svatora, Ann (Bob) Foeller, Erica (Kent) Stange-Baker, Tory (Zak) Taylor; also in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Aaron will also be sorely missed by his sailing family and crew.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 from 2 - 6 p.m. in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the J.R.S.C. Junior Sailors, N.C.Y.C. Junior Sailors, or T.I.Y.C. Junior Sailors. Found memories and condolences can be shared at
