Alan "Al" John Pighin

Alan "Al" John Pighin, 72 years, of Temperance, MI, passed away at St. Anne's Hospital on September 17, 2021 due to Covid and was fully vaccinated.

Al was born on January 27, 1949 in Detroit, MI to Mario and Eleanor (Bortolin) Pighin.

Alan is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Suzanne; his children, Rachele (Ben) Branson, Brooks Pighin, A.J. (Tracy) Pighin, and Amber (Wes) Beham; grandchildren, Austin, Mackenzie, Raegan, Mario, Brock, Brooklyn and Brecken; sister, Lana (Bill) Buchner; numerous brother and sister-in-laws; nieces and nephews; as well as many many great- nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mario and Eleanor Pighin; mother and father-in-law, John and Anne McElroy; and brother-in-laws, Sean McElroy, Jack McElroy, and John Jurack.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI 48182. The memorial funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI 48182 where visiting will begin after 10:00 a.m. in the Narthex. In true Al fashion, we suggest that you dress in your favorite Michigan gear or golf attire for Friday's visitation. ******We are also requiring you wear your mask when you're inside.
